Hello, I am Eric. I was born and raised in Ohio, where I developed a strong sense of teamwork and discipline through my love for high school football. The lessons I learned on the field stuck with me, and after attending ITT Technical Institute, I made the move to Maryland at the age of 21. It was here that I began my career with an HVAC company in Montgomery County, where I worked for 15 years. In 2005, I took a leap and decided to start my own HVAC business, driven by my commitment to integrity, honesty, and customer satisfaction. I had a simple but powerful vision: to provide first-class service while truly caring for families and ensuring their comfort. At the beginning, it was just me, one van, and an unwavering dedication to excellence. But over the years, my business grew, and what started as a dream became a thriving company in Frederick County. Today, we have multiple vehicles, a talented team of full-time technicians, and a knowledgeable office staff—all dedicated to delivering the kind of five-star service that I’ve always believed in. Family is at the heart of everything we do. I've had the privilege of personally training both of my sons in every aspect of the HVAC industry, ensuring that the values of integrity and quality service I built the company on will continue through future generations. In my free time, I love traveling the world with my wife, experiencing new cultures, sightseeing, and simply enjoying quality time with friends and family. I’m also a proud Ohio State Buckeyes fan, so you can often find me watching college football during my downtime. Whether in business or in life, I try to live by the values of hard work, humility, and dedication to both my family and my community.

Hi, my name is Logan Smock. HVAC has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I carried my father’s tools, rode along with him to jobs, and helped spread the word about our business by placing yard signs and door hangers on homes all around Frederick County. In high school, I spent my summers installing air conditioning systems, and after graduating from Urbana in 2014, I joined the family business full-time. Wanting to serve my country, I had the privilege of joining the Army National Guard while still being able to continue my HVAC career. After several years of installing and servicing equipment, I transitioned into the office to help focus on growing the business. I have a deep passion for pushing our company forward, building a strong culture for our staff, and ensuring every customer has a great experience from start to finish. My goal is simple: provide the best service for homeowners and the best environment for technicians and office staff to grow their careers. When I’m not at work, you’ll find me watching sports, hunting, exercising, or spending quality time with my wife and daughter.

Scott Smock has been a dedicated member of the family business for 14 years, working alongside his father and brother in the residential heating and air conditioning industry. Starting off by assisting on jobs, he eventually became skilled in installing and servicing systems. Scott’s passion for customer service led him to providing systems that are tailored to meet the unique needs and comfort values of each customer. He is committed to ensuring that every customer receives the best possible experience and enjoys reliable comfort year-round. Outside of work, Scott is happily married with four children, and he enjoys spending his free time with family and friends.

Hello! My name is Ashlee and I thrive in a fast-paced environment and love the challenge of wearing so many different hats at Smock Heating & Air. It's rewarding to see the company grow and succeed the past 13 years, knowing that I have played a key role in its success. Without our loyal customers, all of that wouldn’t have been possible! I grew up in Walkersville (Go Lions!) and now live in Waynesboro, Pa. When I'm not at work, you can usually find me spending time with my energetic twins, stepdaughter, husband and our 3 dogs. My whole family is always looking for new adventures, especially during the summer when we can all be found at the beach, pool or camping by the water on the weekends. I feel incredibly grateful for the opportunities and personal development I have had at Smock Heating & Air, and I look forward to continuing to help you with all your heating and air conditioning needs.

Hi! I’m Nancy and I have had the pleasure of working at Smock Heating and Air for the past 6 years. I’m originally from Colorado, but my husband and I made Maryland our home over 30 years ago. I have 3 daughters, 3 son-in-laws and 6 grandchildren that all live locally. My favorite pastime is spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy traveling, reading and visiting local wineries.

My name is Diann. Born and raised in our beautiful city, Frederick. I recently joined Smock Heating & Air, with over 20 years of Administrative Assistant/Customer Service experience. I value working alongside a respectful and dedicated team. I’m a mother of two boys, ages 22 and 15. l enjoy spending my free time with family, being outdoors, shopping, Sunshine Saltwater.

Hi my name’s Matt. I started as an apprentice with Eric in 2006 shortly after he started his company. Learning the trade under Eric’s guidance I worked my way up to achieving first my journeyman’s license, and then my Masters license. Now I am able to provide guidance, training, and support to a growing team of talented installers. Throughout nearly two decades of working at Smock Heating & Air, one thing we have always believed is to “do things right, make things right” which I love. Outside of work you can find me spending time with my family. I married my high school sweetheart and together we have a son and a daughter. As a family, we love hiking and mountain biking in the woods. I also volunteer some of my free time to build trails for hikers/mountain bikers in the area. On most evenings and weekends, you can find me cheering on or helping to coach any one of my son’s several AAU basketball teams.

My name is Doug and I’m a Master Licensed service technician for Smock Heating & Air. I’ve been in the HVAC industry for 20 years and with the Smock team since 2015. I take pride in my work because every day brings a new challenge, and I love knowing that I’m helping families stay comfortable in their homes. When I’m not on the job, you can find me watching football, out on the water fishing, or spending time with my family and two dogs.

Hi my name is Tony and I’m a service/maintenance technician with Smock Heating & Air. I graduated from Urbana high school in 2013. After high school I joined the Maryland Army National Guard and I’m still currently serving today. I’ve earned my Journeyman’s HVAC license back in 2023 and have been a certified journeyman for 2 years. I’ve worked for Smock Heating & Air for 9 years. I’m a skilled professional in the heating and air conditioning trade, bringing expertise and dedication to every project. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active through working out and cherishing quality time with my fiancée and dog. I’m a well-rounded individual who balances my passion for the HVAC craft with a commitment to family and fitness.

My name is Ryan Howard and I’ve been with the Smock team for about 5 years. I’m an experienced HVAC technician and comfort advisor passionate about keeping customers comfortable in their homes and businesses. I take pride in diagnosing issues, finding effective solutions, and helping customers select the system that best fits their needs, lifestyle, and budget. My goal is to provide lasting comfort, energy efficiency, and peace of mind. I’m grateful for my amazing wife, who is my high school sweetheart and our two crazy, energetic dogs who keep life fun and exciting. When I’m not working; I enjoy golfing, fishing, and spending time with friends and family.

Hi, I’m Kevin Miller. I’ve been in the HVAC industry for over 20 years and have been a licensed journeyman for most of my career. I joined Smock Heating and Air in 2017, bringing years of hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing heating and cooling systems. I take pride in solving problems and helping homeowners achieve the comfort they deserve. Whether it’s troubleshooting a system issue or fine-tuning equipment for peak efficiency, I enjoy the challenge of keeping homes comfortable year-round. When I’m not working, you’ll find me watching football, barbecuing, or spending time with my family.

My name is Jacob and I'm a dedicated HVAC technician with over five years of experience in the industry. Skilled in installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, committed to ensuring optimal indoor comfort for clients. With a strong understanding of both residential and commercial systems, I pride myself on delivering reliable solutions and exceptional customer service. My passion for staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices makes me a valuable asset to the Smock team. My name is Mario. I started my HVAC career in 2003. I worked for a couple different companies doing everything from service work to installations. In May of 2020 I was hired by Smock Heating & Air. This was the year when my HVAC career took on a new meaning in my life. I have learned and grown so much; not just in my technical career, but as a person. The honesty and professionalism of the Smocks is what keeps me motivated in my HVAC career. I'm a family-oriented man. I like to enjoy my time off going to church with my wife and kids. One of my favorite pastimes is to watch a good live baseball game.

My name is Adam and I’ve been a technician for Smock Heating and Air for the past 3 years. I graduated from Oakdale High School and went straight into HVAC. I take pride in my work and always strive to deliver the best service possible. Outside of work I love being outdoors and spending time with family. I’m passionate about what I do and love helping our customers stay comfortable year round.

My name is Mitch and I’m an installer with Smock Heating & Air. I graduated from Linganore High School and started working in the HVAC industry immediately. I enjoy installing systems and making them look and run great. During my off time I enjoy hanging out with family and friends.

My name is Parker. I am an installer who started my career with the Smock team in 2024. I take pride in my work, knowing that every installation helps keep families comfortable in their homes. Making sure each job is done right is important to me, and I’m committed to delivering quality service with attention to detail and professionalism. I also enjoy working outdoors, which is one of the many reasons I love what I do.

My name is James and I’m an installer with Smock Heating & Air. I graduated from Damascus High School in 2009. I started off in the hospitality industry and did catering for nearly 10 years. After covid, I still wanted to do something that involved making people comfortable and happy. So, I got into the HVAC trade and I've loved every aspect of it since. During my free time I enjoy cooking food, fishing and watching football.

My name is Aleck and I’m a skilled install technician with Smock Heating & Air. I take great pride in delivering high-quality work that ensures both functionality and aesthetic appeal. After graduating from Sherwood High School, I entered straight into the HVAC industry. I have been able to grow my knowledge exponentially after learning from the Smock Team. Since then, I have honed the skills necessary to provide exceptional service; always striving to make every installation seamless and efficient. When not on the job, I enjoy spending quality time with friends, playing outdoor sports, and cherishing moments with my fiancé.

My name is David and I’m a helper with Smock Heating & Air. I just got into the HVAC industry. I take pride in my work and enjoy the process of helping my teammates out on whatever they need to make every installation look as clean and professional as possible. During my free time I enjoy grilling and hanging out with my family.
